Awesome!
First app that ever inspired me to write a review! I have over a hundred apps on my iPhone and this is my favorite. Each update is just more and more impressive. They keep making it better and better!
This is definitely the best astronomy app for the iPhone; both informative and attractive! You won't be disappointed!
Favorite App
This is, by far, my favorite app. I have used many, many apps and this beats them all in both aesthetic and functional quality. The developers really know what they're doing. I've used this app for many months and have enjoyed it every use.
The new holiday update with the little "surprise" feature was nice. I must have missed the frost feature but agree with another reviewer that features like that would be great as long as they are optional.
The GUI and ambient music in the background is a wonderful and very relaxing feature. I like being able to click on the planets and stars for more information. And I enjoy being able to see where the ISS, Hubble and satellites are in the sky at a given time. Also, one of my favorite parts of the app is being able to view the sky in different wavelengths like microwaves or gamma rays.
I cannot speak highly enough of this app. Keep up the great work!!
Really Cool
As a physics major who is going to go for astrophysics in graduate school, I absolutely love this. The universe is by far the most awe-inspiring place imaginable, and this app helps to keep oneself learning about it even on his/her phone. Very good for amateur astronomy, as it tells you exactly where and when to find any objects of interest. The spectrum feature is so awesome to me; I can just imagine incredibly massive black holes and neutron stars that reside where the strongest x-ray and gamma radiation appear on my screen. Very useful app for observation, learning, and plain fun. A very cool app, and a very useful tool
in many regards. The pictures of the day are also incredible, as all Hubble data is. Worth it for people familiar with our cosmos, and even more worth it for those who may not be.
