The local.ch phone book application helps you find private and business phone numbers and addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Search in your vicinity
The application identifies your location and allows you to search in your immediate surroundings. For example you can find your way to the closest restaurant, chemist or petrol station. (Please note: This functionality only works if location services are available and enabled on your iPhone or your iPod Touch.)
Key features
- Search for private persons
- Search for businesses and organizations
- Search for keywords (e.g. "Restaurant" or "Taxi")
- Find out who called you by using the reverse look-up. (For listed numbers only)
- Search using wild-cards: (e.g. "Me*er" for Meier or Meyer; "Georg*" for Georg, George or Georges)
- Save a found entry or add to an existing entry in your personal address book.
Standard actions
- Tap on a phone number to make a call.
- Tap on a web address to visit the website.
- Tap on an e-mail address to send an e-mail.
- Tap on an address to bring up the maps application.
