Excellent.
The gameplay Tactical Warrior reminds me very much of "Gladius", of console fame (or not, as it were) about 6 or 7 years ago. It was a fantastic title that didn't receive nearly enough recognition (if you love Tac Warrior definitely pick it up If you can find it).
Tac Warrior is well thought out and executed, with solid gameplay and great music. It's a perfect mobile strategy game with no fluff. It's rather addicting and with multiple paths, warrior choices and decisions it ensures plenty of replay value (far more than the average game in the app store).
As a dedicated video game player and voice talent (in ShadowGun, Kingdom Rush etc) I give this one a very high recommendation.

I absolutely adore this game
Fantastic turn-based game play. Battles are fast, fast, fast, and there's no annoying story to get in the way.
The warrior recruitment and skill advancement mechanics really make your party extremely customizable. The skills you choose matter. You won't just be moving around and clicking "fight" every round in this game. Stamina, mobility, status effects, attack types... they are all huge factors in your success.
I also love the pared down item system. Items are somewhat rarer than in other similar games, and each character can carry only two, so how you choose to allocate them is important. Not as important as skills, but a nice little way to augment your characters. Choosing your drops and trading to upgrade your items is also fun and offers more potential for customization.
Almost every review mentions the graphics, because, yeah, they're simple. But I think they become quite charming as you get attached to your little band of warriors.
Just a fantastic gem of a game.
