Christmas is time for making your wishes come true. Many times, almost every Christmas we wish to be more organized, ready and relaxed for once after the Christmas rush, but it turns out to be a very difficult task to organize everything and don't let anything slip out of our heads. For this you need a very reliable helper. Hence we suggest you to use Task2Gather.
Task2Gather is a very powerful to-do list that will allow you to make your Christmas preparations very easy. It is a web-based application that can be used from anywhere. The iPhone version as well as WM client work together so if one of your family members has iPhone and the other a WM device you'll be able have common lists of things to do and things to buy.
This is how we suggest you to get organized this Christmas: first create a project called "Christmas" by tapping the "+" icon on the top right corner of the screen. If you're going to get things ready for Christmas together with your beloved you may share the project with her/him by tapping the "share" button in the bottom left corner in the "i" window of the task. There you can send an e-mail invitation to make sure nothing gets lost.
So now both of you have access to the same project. What next? Put subtasks to your "Christmas project" like:
"Shopping list"
"Presents"
"Christmas menu" (what to buy for cooking)
Each task can be assigned to a different individual. Thus you'll avoid buying the same things if you shop separately.
Most importantly you can leave comments on each task asking what is worth buying and what's not. Task2Gather works online so you'll be informed by push notification if your partner made some changes or answered on the comments in the shared tasks.

Great app, tried another similar app ( twice as much) and this one seems to work very well. Only complaint is the task2gather server seems to have gone down today and there was no prior notification by the devloper, and this app becomes useless without the server, hope it just a fluke and will be up soon.
Task lists are best when they reflect reality
I read on the task2Gather website that you could use this for shopping as well as complex projects. I laughed, but then actually tried it as a shopping list. And when my wife thought of a couple more things, she just added them to the "Project" and they appeared while I was in cereal isle.
It works well to keep focused on more complicated projects, as well, because it is a simple interface to keep the web- based app in your pocket.
Highly recommend to anyone who needs to keep a list of things to do, or works with any size group. You do not all need iphones to use this app, but those who have the list in their pocket seem to be at an advantage.
Finally a way to collaborate on the run.
This program is just what I have been looking for to bridge the gap between planning and execution. Keeping up to date tasks in my phone is like having an assistant who is there keeping track of changes made by anyone else involved with any given project. If I have been assigned a task, and the assignment is modified, I get the changes instantly. Wow. I like how in the desktop/ webapp version, you can use the program to communicate with specific people on specific themes and the conversation thread is woven into the task to which it relates, that would be a good feature to incorporate too. I think the graphics are simple enough to let your eyes focus on the task. certainly much more useful when used in conjunction with the desktop version- good thing it is free.
