Textastic is a fast and versatile text, code and markup editor supporting syntax highlighting of over 80 programming and markup languages. Connect to FTP, SFTP and WebDAV servers or to your Dropbox and iDisk accounts. Use the built-in WebDAV server to easily transfer files from your Mac or PC over Wi-Fi.
It's the perfect app to view and edit your website and source code files at home, in the office or on the road.

Love the new keyboard
I can type nearly as fast as on my laptop with the new keyboard, now iPad has become my primary code editing device thanks to this app :-)
Textastic Code Editor
Well, this app gives new meaning to the iPad for me. I develop with different languages and I don't own a laptop so this tool is invaluable. This app coupled with a BT keyboard is yet another reason I don't really need a laptop.
So far so good. At this point, i'm one happy customer so I'll give it 5 stars to start. As always, I'll update my review if needed. I'm sure there's a lot of goodies I have yet to discover.
KUDOS for secure FTP transfer options!!!! never login to FTP in plain text. It would be nice to see github and network drive support eventually implemented. Still, 5 stars all the way.
If you're a developer, you need this tool. Awesome job Alexander! Retina looks crisp and sharp on the new iPad.
Amazing. Would love SVN capability
This app surprises me every time with how full featured it is. Would be even better if it had SVN support.
