so-so
The story is good of course but it lacks just about everything you would expect from an iPad book. No moveable objects, no puzzles, no painting, no hidden objects to find and no short games. The really annoying thing about it is that sometimes when you swipe to turn the page, there isn't a page turning animation and the only thing that changes on the page is the words so it's sometimes hard to tell if you you've gone to the next page.
The developers need to look at some other books available for the iPad, such as Cosmo's Day Off, to see what Cat in the Hat should be like.

My kids love being able to play within the story. My 2 year old know it by heart now.
My class
My students are really enjoying reading this book. I found out that my iPad can connect to my listening center. The story has a wonderful tone of voice.
