✭HOW TO PLAY✭
When running the app, you are presented with a 3D simulated camera zoom, pan and fly-over of one of the games. Swiping right brings up Gameprom news and swiping left brings up the local score screen. Tapping on a game's fly-over screen starts game play. Controls in game:
• Tap ANYWHERE on the left side of screen to control the left flipper and ANYWHERE on the right side to control the right flipper.
• Shake your iPad to realistically shake the pinball table, but not too much or you'll tilt.
• Tap on the "electronic caption" at the top of the screen to pause or resume your game.
• Pinch your fingers together or apart to toggle camera mode from live to fixed

Beautiful table, good game
Great game, probably the best and definitely most beautiful pinball table available on the iPhone yet.
There are only 2 things I see keeping this from being "Excellent" (5 star), and both issues I would think are fixable with an update:
1) There is a approximately a .5 second (maybe less) delay in the flippers response, something I did not see in the Wild West app. Also if you slightly tap the flippers, it will register but flick fast enough that the ball is not affected by the flick.
2) This one may be more of a personal preference, but I believe it is pretty much a pinball standard that the flipper controls should also alternate the gate lights (3 in this case) at the top of the table. The dev's chose not to do this in Wild West and have carried that design here to The Deep. Again maybe I'm in the minority but I think this detracts from the experience.
Otherwise though, if you enjoy pinball I can't imagine your being disappointed with this purchase, especially at .99 (current price at launch).
great update
the new update is great, hope u create an option that allows us to keep the winter theme by turning it on or off, luv the pinball games but sometimes when the ball goes down the chute within the first 30 seconds of the first ball i want to start over without having to exit and re open the app, 30 sec ball saver perhaps? or possibly a restart button when paused??? great app anyways
