Almost fun.
The bad: 1: When doubling up be prepared to lose 90% of the time. I basically only double up to get pissed off. It's ridiculous.
2: When you double up it should reveal the cards you didn't pick after you pick.
3: When you double up apparently a tie means you lose (lame). When the dealer gets an ace even though you've already lost they make you pick a card anyway (insulting).
4: The high score is pointless. A high score only means you play more, because you don't really ever win. Your money just slowly dwindles away over time. If you bet 250 and "win" 200 they count it as you winning 200. Uh, that's not the way it works in reality. The high score would be a little better if it was how much you lost.
Fix these things and it becomes a five star app. The interface is nice and clean. Video Poker just falls short in the game play aspect.
Great except music options
I would upgrade but I just discovered I can't listen to my own music. The blues lick that loops in the background is bound to get old--as would anything repeated endlessly. Even if it is turned off it comes back on when I play music on my device.
pretty good app
it does kill you when you double. wish it was really random instead of some programmed payout. other than that it is pretty fun and you can test your logic and see what you would be dealt in 100 hands . nice practice for a real poker game
