Description
TileSudoku combines the famous puzzle game with natural interface that feels just right on the iPhone. It presents the puzzle as a game board covered with tiles which you can move around the screen with your fingertip. To enrich the gameplay experience even better, there are rich graphics, animations and sound effects.
Playing is easy — To fill the board, you just drag number tiles into open slots. If you change your mind, just drag that tile to another slot or back into the tile tray at the bottom of the screen. To sketch in possible numbers, a quick double-tap on a slot allows you to select the numbers you want to remember.
Additionally, TileSoduku offers unique features to help speed up your gameplay, including options to visually confirm when a board section has been completed or to highlight which tiles fit in the selected slot on the board. Both are simple and easy ways to improve your game skills. By combining these features with a beautiful and minimalistic screen layout, TileSudoku is the natural way to play Sudoku on your iPhone.

Tile Sudoku
Pros: gameplay is easy and uses the touchscreen beautifully. Sound effects are excellent. The game is gorgeous. It's a very fun distraction.
Cons: no hints. No zen-like music in the backgroud. No alert when you have doubled a number or misplaced a number--at least as an option. No clear sign from the game's AI that you have completed the game and either won or need to go back and try again. No difficulty setting...I routinely defeat a puzzle in 5 minutes or less and would like some harder puzzles. Hopefully these issues will be addressed in an UPDATE.
Well Done
Very well done application, my favourite implementation of sudoku so far. My only complaint is that on occasion it doesn't register that I've filled all the spots and solved the puzzle (and yes, I've double-triple-quadruple checked that it's been solved) and that it's easy to hit / pick up the wrong tile. Overall though, it's very neat and smooth and appeals to me. Good work.
Undetected win = epic fail
I beat it on hard and it didn't detect the win condition. I checked every row column and square. I believe the puzzle was generated in an ambiguous manner with two possible win conditions and I didn't do the "right" one. This game uses a broken algorithm for creating puzzles and detecting a win. I guess you get what you pay for.
