Great App
Very helpful..
Might not be free... but has a great UI ( much better than others) and is fun to use.. Worth the money for sure.
Pretty application but appears to be missing something
It works as advertised, however when I round up/down with gratutities, I make sure the whole number is on the final total, not on the tip itself, it appears they reversed what the idea of rounding up is all about... I rather leave a tip of say 2.47 if it means my total I am going to leave is rounded.
One more thing, I wish there was a way to separate food with alcohol, as I tend not to tip everything when my meal was $50 and I bought a $200 bottle of wine. Perhaps adding a section on Tax can be useful as I tip on subtotal...
Sales tax is not included in calculating a tip
In New York City, we have a sales tax of 8.+% which is applied into the total bill. A tip should not be based on the inclusion of the sales tax. As such, the tipulator, as is, causes a mindful New Yorker to calculate the sub-total for tip purposes and then manually apply the sales tax on top of this. In doing, we are not tipping on top of the sales tax. So, add a sales tax option in the program.
