TouchScan is an easy to use scanning-simulation with focus on versatility. TouchScan can be almost anything you can imagine. Just press your thumb and that of someone else on the screen of your iPhone/iPod and TouchScan will tell you how good you two fit together (or not :) ).
Depending of how you setup your scanresults and what story you tell prior to scanning someone, Touch Scan can be:
- icebreaker at the bar
- a lie detector
- a finger scanner
- a fart detector
- IQ-Scanner
- Alien, Terminator or Cylon Detector of Battlestar Galactica
- a Love-Meter
- scan for criminal records (i.e. like C.S.I. or FBI use)

Of course, TouchScan can't really scan fingerprints, someones brain, IQ or anything else. It's all a trick and for entertainment purposes only. You enter up 2 results prior to using the programm in the settings (within the settings application of your iPhone/iPod!). You can choose between these results by the position of your thumb in the upper area of the screen.

What TouchScan is NOT:
TouchScan is not a real scanning software. This software is a fun-application and just simulates the scanning of someones brain! It can not replace the "swipe to unlock"-Screen. It cannot be used as a security scanner. It can't cook coffee or post to twitter, facebook are anything like that!
What's New in Version 3.0
- choose one out of 10 colors for the scan
- now with random- and operator-mode
- use up to 10 results simultaniously in random-mode
- "persistant scan" keeps scanning even if the fingers are lifted
- built-in Twitter-Client so you won't miss any news from the Software-Diner. This feature is of course completely optional and can be turned off!
- now with built-in manual! No need to leave the app or have web-accesss anymore if you need help. Comes with many examples on how to use TouchScan!

Don't waste your precious money - it STINKS!
Why would you pay a $1(!) for something that provides no true constant entertainment, you customize yourself, and gets old extremely quickly?!?! This is not worth a precious dollar. You tell someone to put their finger on the screen, and then chose their results. STUPID!
For all you people who like this, a lot of people who are on iTunes don't read through the whole description. We just skim it, and don't see the part that says this thing is a total FAKE! If someone wants something as stupid as this to tell them the "truth," just get something like the ball you shake that says, "Ask again later."
Don't buy this. spend your money on something like Worms, which is $5, or an treat yourself to an in-app purchase or two if you really want to spend some iTunes bucks. This is not worth it, and unless they begin to advertise it as it is, these lying developers will continue to get "I Hate It" 1 star ratings from me.

What a fun app! I cannot believe that the rating is so low, you people should read the description before doing that. Though I would not say tht you people are retards, for that would be an insult to the mentally disabled..
Getting better and better...
How can you all be upset about the app not being a real scanner or not being usable as a security screen for your iPhone when it cleary as hell says so in the description? It does what it says and it's cool fun! And since this update it's so damn useful, too...I'm really looking forward to the next update... :) It's been steadily improved over the first year and everything has been a FREE update...here is one really comitted developer!
