Home is where you start from: a personal collection of Tweets from the sources you care about. View the tweet details for rich information such as replies, retweets and embedded images.
Connect is the place to see who followed or mentioned you, retweeted or favorited one of your Tweets. It’s where you keep the conversation flowing.
Discover is where you can tap into the stories and trends people are talking about in your world. You can also find friends, browse interests, and explore hashtags here.
In Me, the new Profile section puts you and your interests front and center. From here you can exchange direct messages with your followers.

Not a fan of the "upgrade"
While I do like the look of the new UI, I miss being able to translate tweets in app. It doesn't help that I can't copy and paste them to Google Translate (or other) anymore either.
Several issues I also dislike: the inability to use landscape mode in ALL components of the app; no support for any of the 140-character plus software programs; some tweets can't be RT'ed for reasons I have yet to discover; can't locate all of the people I'm following with the in tweet "@" command (but this seems to be true across all of the Twitter apps I use); unable to see the exact number of tweets I've posted; unable to see if a person is following me by simply clicking their profile; can't tell (within the app itself) who has RT'ed me; can't delete saved searches by swiping the search from the list; no longer able to click on a trending topic to see WHY it is trending, etc. I don't want to belabor the points that have caused me to disdain this app in favor of others.
I will admit I too hated the "Discover" tab at first. Now, it's grown on me. I know it would be impossible to satisfy ALL users within a single app but I hope the feedback that's been provided for this current version of the app will be taken into consideration by developers the next time around.
New version
Need slide to reply!!!
I do not like it.
The new look is great but I can't see if someone is following me or not (this is a HUGE problem) & the translate is gone. Also there used to be the little scrolling thing of the day's top tweets. Now it just shows stories. It was a part of my daily routine to check out the top tweets. Bring it back please! Also it is more difficult to search for somebody. & I can't make new saved searches or delete ones I already have. I'm happy I can see who now follows me & who retweets me, but I think the old twitter app needs to be brought back & just add the new features into it. getting rid of the old features was a BAD idea!
