I switched and I have a Twitter client of my own!
I developed a fairly popular Twitter client for the iPhone in the old 1.0 days (PocketTweets), but I always longed for something like Twitterrific on my phone. Something with a native look and feel that made it quick and painless to see tweets. Now that it is here, I'm glad that I can retire my trusty Web application and have a much better user experience.
Why I bought this
Tried the free version. Liked it a lot. And I totally appreciate that it wasn't crippled; that the ads weren't invasive. These are reasons some are listing not to buy, but they're thinking about it backwards.
Did I need the premium version? Of course not -- I didn't even need the free one. But it's not about what I can get away with. It's about supporting the artists and developers who make my life a little better, so they can afford to keep doing that for me.
It's no less self-serving than the other way, believe me. But, I think, ultimately more productive.

The Iconfactory has a hit here. If you use Twitter, you need the Premium version of this app, hands down. The UI looks better than just about any other app out there, and built-in hints and tips make its complex functionality seem simple and intuitive, even the first time you use it.
Scrolling can lag a bit, but other than that, it's a first rate application, and a must-have for all Twitterers.
