Description
TypeWay supports 10-finger typing with automatic adaptation of the key configuration. TypeWay is for iPad only, and sets focus on 10-finger touch-typing. The keyboard layout of Version 1.2 is: English international, landscape mode.
TypeWay starts with a „DEFAULT“ key configuration.
It automatically adapts to hands and certain typing habits.
By „RESTORE“ a configuration is used which has been
saved („SAVE“) as favorite.
„FREEZE“ locks the actual key configuration.
„UNFREEZE“ activates the adaptation.
Basic management of text files:
“NEW” opens a new text file.
“EDIT” and “Rename” can delete or rename notes.
“SHARE” uses Mail, Twitter, AirPrint, "Send to iTunes", "Open In..."
iOS 5 features are integrated, as cut, copy & paste,
spell-checker, suggestions for word correction,
and multi-touch features.
TypeWay supports fast typing, e.g. for protocols,
lesson-scripts, interviews, mails, and basic text editing.
The iPad actually does not allow to replace its preinstalled
keyboard in general, here text export via “SHARE”
(e.g. Mail or "Open In...") or copy & paste is recommended:
A double tap on the text field opens the option “Select All”,
by which the iPad’s cache memory saves the text. Then in another
app or program a double tap in its text field opens the option “Paste”.
