Company... Attention!!

Great app. Cool interface, loads of info and good for vets, soldiers, family or those even thinking about joint the armed forces.

I have a request, will you update the app to open Mapquest and show bases. Thanks!

Great little app

If I could rate this higher I would. Every member of the armed forces or DoD emplyee who owns an iPhone or iPod touch should have this app installed. I'm a former soldier and a current DA Civilian. I use it all the time now, and I only wish I could have had this reference when I was still in uniform. The only flaw I've found so far is under the list of bases, Ft. Meade is listed in the wrong state.

A fair start

Fairly rudimentary. The speech and documents are intriguing as are the service songs and hyms. BUT, the only real resource in my opinion that's worthwhile to those who serve is the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). The reality though is that few, including I as a Commander, need to know the whole code. A search or more specific discovery technique is needed.

Final thought: To a new military member or family member this is a good general reference. If you've been in for a few months, save your money.

Should include: better search. NCOer and OER sample bullets. MOS descriptions. Pay scales. Common regulations (600-9, etc..)
