Well, this application was initially developed for personal use, as none of the other flashlight application met my requirements.
I do NOT need flashing lights or random color gimmicks. All I needed was a nice BRIGHT LIGHT, however, there have been times when I needed to QUICKLY LOWER or RAISE the brightness in order not to disturb others.
This VARIABLE FLASHLIGHT application allows you to very QUICKLY and EASILY change the brightness by just sliding your finger up or down the surface. It is very quick and does exactly what it needs to... that is all... no fiddling with settings or playing with gimmicky color options (or epileptic inducing flashing).

This suited my needs perfectly but after speaking with others and with some prodding, I've decided to release the quick VARIABLE FLASHLIGHT.

Exactly what I was looking for!
When looking for LED flashlight apps, I found a few that also offered a screen light option, but their screen lights were not adjustable. Sometimes you do need less (but some) light and this app is perfect for that.
