VB iAgent lets you access web browsers, RDP agents or other remote protocol clients from your iPhone or iPod Touch. All your web & cloud applications are now available from your iPhone with no security and compatibility issues.
SECURITY - Your browsers run on a server (hosted in your corporate infrastructure), there is no data on your device. The VB iAgent connects to the VB server over an encrypted SSL connection.
COMPATIBILITY - Need to use IE6 to access corporate apps? Need to use flash or java plugins on your iPhone? With VB iAgent you access several browser sessions with different profiles. For each session, the system administrator defines (i) the browser engines (Firefox, IE, Safari) or ICA and RDP client and (ii) the plugins/extensions (Flash, Java, ActiveX).
REQUIREMENTS
Virtual Browser server is required. You need to know the IP adress of the VB server you want to reach. Please contact your organization's IT for assistance.
VB SERVER DESCRIPTION (contact commonIT for more informations):
- The system administrator can define multiple different sessions on the VB server, which appear as corresponding icons on the user's interface. Each session can have different security policies (for example, access to corporate intranet applications, access to trusted third party sites, unrestricted internet access) and can run different browser engines and configurations.
- The system administrator defines which applications have equivalent security policies, and which can therefore be executed simultaneously in a given session.
- Individual Virtual Browser sessions are executed in a dedicated environment so that sessions are run as isolated virtual machines.
