Voice Alarm will tell you, how much time you have left until an appointment or event.
Open this app and set up an alarm for the time of your appointment. Press start and from then on the device will speak how much time you have left. The notification
system is intelligent and can give you notifications more and more frequently as the deadline approaches. Alternatively, you can ask for notifications on fixed time intervals. E.g. every minute like a standard talking clock.

Very competent application
I had to write a review after sync'ing just now, and my alarm sounded during my sync!
I've had this app for about a year and never used it, but recently I started using it to enter contests. At first I didn't appreciate the look of the app, but the large dials make it very easy to set parameters, even with your thumb, fast and accurately.
The alarm has a volume control, and can be MUCH louder than your music, and is even quite audible through an iPod touch 4th gen internal speaker. The alarm works through a bluetooth headset connection as well as the headphone jack.
I would like to be able to import my own audio files for alarm sounds, but that's not a complaint, just a wish.
I'm glad I started using this finally.
Now I can hear time passing!
This app is perfect if you tend to get distracted easily! I set it for various deadlines & appointments throughout the day. The voice in my pocket calls me back to the task at hand over & over! Please add bedtime & laundry to the list & help the voice to speak through all other apps. Thanks.

Use it everyday for stretching and working out. I don't have to count it announces to me every 30 seconds!!

I love this app I use it when i am working out...stretching and drills because It's better than watching the clock as I can stay focused with greater intensity...All the other previous reviewers are just people who can't read the description and then download the app and want alarm notifications when the app is NOT running...learn to read first kinda something taught in elementary..And don't blame your lack of reading skills on the developers because they can't go around the restrictions of apple's OS for the iphone..BUY IT if the description makes sense to you I USE IT EVERYDAY AND LOVE IT!
