Good app for a good price
Just downloaded and used once.
PROS: easy to use, simple interface, recordings appear to be very small (my 20min+ recording came in at 32kb), can't argue with the price (though I wouldn't be surprised to see a free one down the line)
CONS: The mic on the iPhone doesn't have very good range, so I can't imagine this working too well recording a lecture. Some more advanced playback would have been nice. For example if I'm listening to a recording, go to check email and come back, I start from the beginning.
Overall, a very good simple app. Does what it needs to.
It's ok for personal notes
I downloaded this app before class today to try and record my professor. I downloaded this one because I lik the mic button and it was only a dollar. This app is not good, however, at picking up voices from a little distance away. I was about 10 ft., at the most, away from the professor and it didn't pick up squat. I do like it for personal use though.
You can't even email the files!
A voice recording app that can't email the files is so pointless when people want to share notes. Imagine wanting to hear the note on something bigger than an iPhone or just trying to let someone have a record of something and they're not with you.
Adding an email option would be really simple and basic.
