Superior Weather Alerts
I live in KS and I am commuting an hour one way. If a tornado is imminent, I want to know. I work in one county, my wife works in another county and our home is in yet another county. This app lets me know if there is a weather hazard, what kind of hazard, and where it is headed plus so much more! It has the same Emergency Notification System warning sound that you hear on the radio/ tv, so it's something familiar. It has woke me out of a dead sleep for 70 mph wind warnings. You can customize what alerts will sound the Emergency Notification System sound and which will just give a silent message. I don't need to know there is a frost warning at 3am. But I do want to know if there is a tornado watch/warning! I highly recommend this app for anyone who has to deal with annul extreme weather conditions...

User friendly, simple but yet detailed. Has everything all in one place... Short term forecast, long term, hourly summery, graphical outlook by the NWS, radar, maps, weather radio, and best of all, alerts! I have a couple of Wx alert apps and this one has been the most reliable so far.
Being a trained Storm Spotter, I have many weather apps, from simple to 'complex', Weather Alert USA is my first 'go to' app.
Whether you are wanting to 'check the forecast quickly' or have all the details, this is a must have app.

The update is appreciated and the alerts are now more aligned with county NOAA data! This remains my first 'goto' weather app! Check to make sure you have your notifications set properly!!
Still an excellent addition to my weather app compendium! As a pyrotechnics pro, I need accurate and complete info on local wx conditions. Us "weather weanies" like this one (-:
While may be daunting for the novice/casual wx browser, there is a wealth of NOAA data provided, including local forecasts and discussions found under notes. Coastal & marine wx there too!! Regional satellite & Nexrad composites? Yep. Certainly the most complete NOAA/NWS data set available to date for the IPhone.
If you are someone who uses the NOAA website for weather, You will embrace this app as a great summary. If you are just looking at weather for today/tomorrow, you would be better served w/ a free wx news service app, many of them are free.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants/needs accurate weather data, beyond a daily forecast. Nice Job!!
