This is a first Welsh phrase book perfect for learning a little Welsh to use on your visit to Wales, or to practice what you are learning between Welsh lessons.
It has twelve themed sections on different topics:
- greetings
- common phrases
- numbers
- telling the time
- days, weeks and months
- food and drink
- travelling
- places
- directions
- illness
- weather
- occupations
All phrases are shown in English and Welsh with a recording of how the Welsh is said.
There is a Practice mode where you are shown the Welsh and given the opportunity to see whether you recognise what it means.

What's New in Version 2.1
Fixed it so that it runs again on first gen iPhones and iPod Touches still using 3.1.3 instead of iOS4.
Changed some buttons on whole lesson screen.

App won't open
I just purchased this app and it won't open. Tap on it and it just flashes the first page, then is gone. I only have the joy if the icon.
Rather stilted introduction to South-Wales Welsh
A nice little app on the whole, but many of the Welsh phrases are rather stilted and don't reflect what a native speaker would really say. It's also worth adding that the app is very much biased towards South-Wales Welsh. It would be nice if you could choose between North- and South-Wales Welsh. The major disappointment is the stiltedness, however.
