It works
I had trouble at first but after reading CONCERNEDPARENT's review I got it. Basically: shoot portrait mode, keep it simple (I used only one word with distinctive letters), hold phone steady. The new version allows you to draw an outline around the word/letters so you don't have to crop.
Crash? Dang!
1 star is too many for an app that has crashed EVERY TIME I have tried to use it. And I have tried about 60 times. Dang is right. Maybe a 3.0 update will address and make this the 5 star app it potentially is.
If only...
Awesome idea... I was so excited when I found this app! But it crashes constantly and has yet to recognize any type at all in the pictures, let alone tell me the what font it is. Could you please make this work? I would definitely pay for this app if it did what I was expecting it to.
