If You Like Campaigns—Buy It.
Yes the game could use some work and I disagree with some of the choices made by the developer, but it's a solid strategy game and I have a great time playing it. That's all I ask in a game, and this one delivers. If you like politics, campaigns, elections… well this game's for you.
Great election game!
Reminds me of that old board game (forgot the name). I'm a POLI SCI major so I can really appreciate this game. Good design. Should use red/blue as colors instead of green/brown...also should have an option to save game so if game crashes or I receive a phone call I don't lose everything. All and all a very fun and strategic game to play!
Fun Political Similation
I like these kinds of games, so I was very excited to see one available for the iPhone :D I've only had time to play a few rounds, so I can't comment too much on the replayability, etc. of the game, but I've enjoyed it so far. The only criticism have is that red and brown are really bad color choices for the 7% of men who are red/green color blind or deficient (like me). Red and blue would be much better choices. I'd also like to see color coding extended to the "ads" page to eliminate the need to flip back and forth between the there and the "changes" page. It would also be good to refine the slider controls on the "ads" page ... my suggestion would be to increment them in whole numbers between 1x and 10x, rather than using the decimal precision that makes them a little difficult to work with. But even with those minor issues, if you enjoy political simulations or are a political junkie, you'll like WhiteHouse.
