Description
Witch allows you to switch directly between not only applications (as you can do with Command-Tab), but windows as well. Instead of switching applications first, then windows, use Witch to switch directly to your desired window. If you're coming to the Mac from Windows, you'll find Witch a natural-feeling replacement for Windows' ability to switch directly to windows.

Witch optionally works across Spaces, too, allowing you to easily switch to windows in any other Space.

The first time you quit Witch, a dialog will appear asking if you'd like Witch to run in the background. Say yes, and you can then switch away without seeing Witch in the Dock. You can access the settings panel at any time by either double-clicking the application, or by pressing comma while the Witch panel is onscreen. ◆◆

Great App, Must improve a little bit in Lion
I love switch. I cannond deny: these guys should be working in apple and making their sofware native.
For those fast typers that don't really love the mouse, they made changing tasks absolutely awesome, specially after you change the default commands for Command + Tab.
About lion: they are already aware of some issues about different spaces and also fullscreened apps, it is kind of a pain to get them to appear in the list, specially if you open and close apps all the time.
Even with that small glitch in lion, this app is tottally recomended, and a great improvement in lion's default alt + Tab command.
Excellent App, Just One Feature Request
This is the task switcher Apple forgot to include with OS X. It's fully replaced my default Cmd+Tab switcher. My only request is an option to allow for the escape key to cancel an operation. Hopefully we'll see this in an update. Other than that, fantastic app, well worth the money.
