in the long run, my most used app
This is the perfect, simple-concept little game that I always play when I need to kill time. It's doesn't require sound, it's pretty quick, and you can go back to a puzzle later if you need to. There's no gimmick of levels or achievements or anything (which is good in the long run), but the different board sizes offer good variety (I find the 5x5 the hardest since they usually lack the symmetry of the 6x6). The hints (one letter revealed at a time) are good, too, when you're completely baffled.
This game has seemed to outlast all the other flashier games I've gone through. If you even sort of like this type of puzzle, it's definitely worth getting.
My everyday game
I play this game every day. It even looks and works just fine on my iPad. It's easy to play and sometimes surprisingly difficult even on the smaller grids. I highly recommend this to any word game enthusiast.
No way to track progress or accomplishments. :(
The game is nice looking, and I like the size options, but there is nothing in place to track your progress through the puzzles. The puzzles are not numbered or named, so there is no way to know what puzzles you have, or haven't played, and they aren't timed, so there's no ability to even compete against yourself.
I'd love to see a time option added to this app., or at least some way to track accomplishments. It would make it more engaging.
