World Cup Countdown

Description

World Cup Countdown counts down the days, minutes, hours and seconds until the kick off of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

As well as the timer feature, World Cup Countdown also acts as a digital photoframe displaying a series of beautiful images of South Africa. Clicking on the pictures will give you more information about the scenes you've been looking at or even show you a video clip or audio track.

World Cup Countdown also acts as a digital clock by clearly displaying the time and date beneath the photo.

World Cup Countdown overrides your auto-lock setting so your slideshow will continue for as long as you wish. This makes it ideal to keep running while your device is docked and on charge.

Other settings allow you to vary the length of time each picture is displayed and select either 12 or 24 hour time display.

World Cup Countdown has a very clean, simple interface - just tap on the clock area of the screen to access the settings screen. Tapping on a photo will reveal more info, zoom in for a better look or play video or audio depending upon the content available. Swipe to advance to the next picture if you don't want to wait for it to change automatically.

Note: Videos are downloaded into the app the first time you play them. Subsequent playback will be instant.
