Customer Reviews
Nice, But...
This is a pretty slick app (at least it runs pretty smoothly on my iPod 4 w/ ios4), but the truth is, a sampling of the wiki database is pretty useless and cacheing is only good if you know what it is you're going to want to read later.
I'm a hopeless Wikipedia junkie, and I would pay 5X+ as much as this app costs for a good offline reader that doesn't act stupid or dead while downloading the db (note to all you geniuses out there), and I'm sure I'm not alone out here.
There seems to be quite a turnover of these apps, which usually amounts to lousy support and good intentions, but lack of commitment. Looks like a good offline Wiki app is just too big of a challenge for the iOS app development community.
helpful!
& love that now it's easily in app form.
Please Update
