Customer Reviews

xScope has improved my workflow

xScope is a very versatile tool and integrating it into my workflow has made me more productive. It has also opened up new techniques that would have been difficult before.

In particular, I have found xScope's new mirror to be very useful as part of my mobile design workflow. The ability to lock the mirror view onto a window at a specific location is a great feature; I can attach it to a view in Pixelmator or my desktop browser, and view the results of changes in realtime on the device. This is great when sketching out user interfaces.

The loupe and measurements tools have also been very useful of late. I needed to translate a comp from a designer into HTML and the project required near pixel perfection. With measurements, I was able to quickly determine the exact layouts without having to resort to app-specific tools more or less automatically, and could confirm that the outputs matched the originals. And the loupe was very useful for both checking detail and for capturing the palette of the comps.

I highly recommend xScope. It may not be the least expensive tool of its kind, but it will pay you back in increased productivity and reduced headaches.
