Description
Yammer for iPhone is a tool for making companies and organizations more productive through the exchange of short frequent answers to one simple question: “What are you working on?” As employees answer that simple question, a collaborative communication feed is created in one central location enabling employees to voice their ideas, suggestions, feedback, and answers. Anyone in a company can start their Yammer network. However, networks are private and access to each network is restricted to others except to those with a valid company email address with the same domain.

What a difference!
Since I gave the old version such a bad review, I have to review the new one coz it is like night and day. This version rocks with new functionality and above all it seems as if it is not crashing (although I have just used the app for 15 min, so ,,,). Very, very well done!
Still prefer 2.x
3.x is worse than the previous version; the user interface wasn’t looked at, much less tested. The Feeds icon on the main screen was missing (this, at least is fixed in 3.0.1), and the font is too small, with no apparent way to fix it. 3.1 finally follows Apple’s user interface guidelines; it no longer forgets state when you relaunch the app; e.g., whether you were last looking at your company’s All feed.
Launch, Write, Crash, Repeat
On the iPad... It is August 2010... No iPad version? Worse, crashes during any edit session when writing a response on my iPad. Sigh.
