Awesome
Delicious is a much better way to manage bookmarks on the iPhone than Safari, but the web app isn't optimized for a small screen, and the wrestling match for tagging between the iPhone's correction engine and delicious's suggestions is a pain. No more with Yummy. The app works exactly as advertised, and there's even a bookmarklet that can be used from safari to populate title and url fields. This is the best iPhone delicious client i've found. Fast, and simple, and stays out of your way. Great. Searching by tag is good, but the ability to view by tag, as well as date would be nice.
Really wanted this to work...
But it states "Loading Data..." for 20 seconds or so and then crashes. Hopefully this app will be updated to fix the problem, but you've been warned. 2 bucks isn't much of a gamble, however, so it might be worth the risk to find out if it works for you.
Works great on 3Gs
I'd have given this a 1-star rating when using my (now former) first gen iPhone. Crashed fairly frequently, didn't want to pull a full sync of bookmarks, etc. But I've been giving it a full workout on my new 3Gs, and it now, thankfully, works as advertised. Speedy, efficient. Nice surprise: bumped into this app's Settings page under general iPhone Settings area, allowing me to turn off nauseating sliding titles.
