Elijax

Dr. Elia Andrea Corazza has researched several different eras and types of music as a musicologist, including 20th century neo-Classical and serial music; 18th and 19th century opera; ballet music; and the relationship between music and Fascism. Corazza also holds degrees in piano performance, composition, and conducting, which he studied in Fiesole and Pescara in Italy and at Tanglewood in Massachusetts. His piano work centers on Italian opera and 20th century chamber music, and he has conducted several Italian ensembles. Corazza's compositional activity, sometimes done under the pseudonym Elijax, ranges from scoring documentaries, short films, and advertising to electronic dance music. He teaches at the Conservatory "Fausto Torrefrance" in Vibo Valentia, Italy. ~ Patsy Morita
