About Emmanuelle De Negri

Soprano Emmanuelle de Negri is best known for her long association with conductor William Christie and his ensemble Les Arts Florissants. A turning point in de Negri's career came when she studied in 2009 at the vocal academy Le Jardin des Voix, operated by Christie and Les Arts Florissants. Since then, de Negri has focused on Baroque opera and oratorio, although her repertory also includes later roles. Her recording debut came in 2013 on a recording of Rameau's opera Dardanus with the ensemble Pygmalion and director Raphaël Pichon. With Les Arts Florissants, de Negri appeared, on 2016's Bien que l'amour...: Airs sérieux et à boire and on a 2021 recording of Rameau's Platée. She returned in 2022 with a pair of releases, a recording of Domenico Scarlatti's Stabat Mater with conductor Bertrand Cuiller and Le Caravansérail, and Une nouvelle fête Baroque! with Le Concert d'Astrée and Emmanuelle Haïm.
