About Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In high school I snuck out to a college field day. A band started playing. It was the Wailers. I danced my heart out to every song, which I knew every bassline in my head to, and went home to study Aston 'Family Man' Barrett basslines. Giving thanks. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Capitol Session '73 (Live) Midnite, Ras Mek Peace Radiohead, KID A MNESIA All the drums and bass. The songs and the writing. The works made together as a band into a big new sound. This is inspirational recording made by modern magicians. There's a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Burkina Faso” This is one of the first songs written for the band. It is a song dedicated to a friend of ours who passed away right after the father of our drummer passed away. It always feels like we are with them, and the dead we know, when it is played. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing the children of people who met at our shows come with their children to our shows and having a cross generational celebration and consciousness with our music as the antenna but love as the message.Often at the Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to travel internationally to perform in Africa, Asia, South America, Europe, and all the islands in between. We have yet to leave North America. We want to be live at Budokan
