Antioch Arrow

About Antioch Arrow

Antioch Arrow were one of the seminal first-wave emo bands on the west coast. Though the San Diego quintet was only together barely two years, they released three fine albums plus a number of singles and compilation tracks. Singer Aaron Montaigne, guitarists Jeff Winterberg and Aaron Ricards (who was replaced by Andy Ward in 1994), bassist Mac Mann and drummer Ron Avila formed Antioch Arrow in 1992, signing to Gravity Records and releasing THE LADY IS A CAT the following year. IN LOVE WITH JETTS followed in 1994, but the band split up mid-tour that year. The posthumous GEM OF MASOCHISM came out in 1995.
