About Crack City Rockers

Portland, OR's Crack City Rockers came out of the corner swinging when their first album appeared in the winter of 2001. When the buzz surrounding the retro-rock scene in New York City reached a high point, the Rockers were confident enough in their material to join the growing list of bands heading up the movement. Their album, Joyce Hotel, came out on the Paisley Pop label to a strong critical reaction. The band consisted of vocalist/guitarist Eric S. Gregory, bassist Sean Flora, guitarist Dennis Mitchell, and drummer Curt Schulz; sax player John Leubner had signed on by the time they recorded the 2003 EP New Myths. ~ Bradley Torreano
