Abigail Williams

About Abigail Williams

The American blackened metal band Abigail Williams was founded in 2005, in Phoenix, Arizona. It borrowed its name from an infamous female accuser who was partially responsible for the Salem Witch Trials. The group's ever-evolving sound caused over a dozen musicians to pass through its ranks, with vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron the only mainstay. Over the next decade, Abigail Williams experimented with numerous sonic approaches to black metal, becoming darker, harder, darker, and more aggressive with each successive release. The band relocated to Olympia Washington, and celebrated its tenth anniversary with The Accuser in 2015.
