In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As kids we both performed in talent shows and were winners. After watching Michael Jackson perform on Motown 25 and Prince star in the movie Purple Rain we knew this would be our career. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Marvin Gaye, Dream of a Lifetime Michael Jackson, Thriller Prince, Sign O' The Times (Super Deluxe Edition) Sign O The Times for us was Prince at his most genre bending. Thriller was Michael Jackson was his crowing achievement as King of Pop and Dream of A lifetime is one of the most beautiful albums ever recorded. Tell us why you chose this song. “Where's My Drink?” This is song is special for us because we created it on IG live just improvising for fun. We never intended to finish and release it but the response we got from music fans helped us make that decision. It wasn't like work making it. We had a blast! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Barsheem's principle role in the movie Dream Girls was a highlight. He would come home from set daily and tell us about stories about Beyonce, Jamie Fox and the rest of the cast. We all a great time at the theater seeing his name roll in the credits. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to travel on world tour and have our upcoming album be considered for Grammys.
