About Enduro

Looking up to a sound of '60s soul/garage rock and heavy metal from the '70s, David Bucci (guitar/vocals), Chad Nichols (guitar/vocals/organ), andCoby Cardosa (drum/organ) got together under the moniker of Enduro in 1992. Critically compared to the likes of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Nashville Pussy, and the Makers, the band would release a handful of EPs before signing to Thrifty Recordings in 1996. After the debut of their first full-length, Now City, which came out that same year, as well as their 1997 singles compilation, The Noise Years: 1993-1996, The Self-Starter Foundation put out Enduro's second album, Half Rack of Sugar, in 1998. ~ Mike DaRonco
