When I was five years old, my parents took me to see The B-52s on their tour for the 'Cosmic Thing' LP, and it was probably the first moment I ever associated sound with something physically transcendent. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sets U Free” 'Sets U Free' is a personal favorite of mine, as it illustrates many of the tropes that I enjoy in my work - detailed bass work, tropical synaesthetics, polymetric composition, summery psychedelia, sad-happy melodies - in a fairly accessible runtime. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? For me personally, the most memorable moments in my so-called career would have been any chance I've had to work on something with one of my influences, and to know that things I've done have been enjoyed by those people.
