This UK garage rock band recorded just one single for Parlophone Records in August 1966 when Viv Prince (drums) formed the group after leaving the Pretty Things. Together with Mike Docker (vocals), Richard Dalling (bass), Dave Stewart (organ) and Mick Wayne (d. June 1994; lead guitar, ex-Hullaballoos), the sole artefact they left was ‘Go Home Baby’/‘At The Station’, which has subsequently become a major collector’s item among fans of the period. Both songs were compiled on anthologies such as Sixties Back Beat and Visions Of The Past Vol. 3. Prince was replaced by John Beckerman, and the group changed their name to the Tickle, releasing ‘Subway (Smokey Pokey World’/‘Good Evening’ on Denny Cordell’s revived Regal Zonophone label in November 1967. Prince later worked with Vamp and Denny Laine, while Stewart joined Egg and Hatfield And The North. Wayne went on to Junior’s Eyes.
