About Shroud of Bereavement

Originally founded as a solo project by Newton, NH, native Daniel Robinson (guitar, vocals) in 1996, Shroud of Bereavement slowly grew into a proper band ensemble featuring vocalist Kelly Ann Sullivan, keyboardist Julie Beaulieu, synth specialist Mike Soucy, bassist David Starratt, and drummer Danny Clarke over the course of five years and several demos -- all dedicated to their self-described neo-classical death/doom metal. 2003 saw the release of an eponymous EP, 2004 a single named "A Rose for a Dying Muse," and 2005 both a compilation of early recordings entitled Of Ages and an official full-length debut called Alone Beside Her. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
