Alicia Keys, Songs In A Minor Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Nas, Illmatic I grew up in the 90's-era of conscious hip-hop and R&B - my Sony walkman never left my side - even with one missing foam ear pad. I stayed tapped-in daily to the awakened-storytelling of Nas and the soul-crooning illuminations of Lauryn and Alicia.
