Drug Rug--slang for a certain type of cheap Mexican poncho favored by hippies--is the Boston-based duo of singing multi-instrumentalists Sarah Cronin and Tommy Allen. Their self-titled debut album was released on Black and Greene Records in 2007 and fits in the semi-psychedelic alt-folk category of acts like Wooden Wand, MV+EE, and Joanna Newsom.
