About Knife and Fork

Performing moody and adventurous pop music that's artful yet emotionally direct, Knife and Fork is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer Eric Drew Feldman and Laurie Hall (Ovarian Trolley, Hall Flowers, Ruby Howl). In 2004, the duo released their first album, Miserycord, which featured guest appearances by Tim Mooney of American Music Club and frequent Tom Waits collaborator Joe Gore. Knife and Fork toured in support of the album, including a string of dates opening for PJ Harvey. The duo's many musical commitments kept Knife and Fork on hold for the next several years, but Feldman produced an album for Ruby Howl in 2011, and in 2012, Knife and Fork reconvened to release their second LP, titled The Higher You Get the Rarer the Vegetation. ~ Mark Deming
