In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first song we heard when we were kids – we being the songwriting brothers Per Westin and Erik Westin, founders of Private Jets – was She Loves You by The Beatles. We couldn't stop listening to it, our dad had to buy a new copy of the album. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jellyfish, Spilt Milk (Remastered) Sweet, Desolation Boulevard The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds All these albums have inspired us. Because they all combine great melodies, lush vocal harmonies and cool arrangements in different ways. It's the essence of power pop and what we strive for when we write and record our songs. Tell us why you chose this song. “Superpower Girlfriend” I think this song is a perfect summary of what a Private Jets song is all about – a catchy melody, cool harmonies and an arrangement with some sudden twists and turns. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When we released our album Jet Sounds we made our live debut at The Cavern Club in Liverpool. A great place to start. Even cooler was that we were asked to play an additional show. Great fun!
