About Klingonz

U.K. psychobilly band Klingonz formed in 1988 with the original lineup of Titch (vocals), Doyley (guitar), Strangy (bass), and Mocker (drums). The group recorded its first album, Psycho's from Beyond, in 1990 and toured throughout Europe and Japan. After returning to the studio to record Blurb, their second album, Strangy left Klingonz to join Karloff, a group fronted by his brother. Eddie stepped in to replace Strangy on bass, and Klingonz continued to tour and record, eventually releasing an additional four albums before Doyley left and was replaced on guitar by Mick. (Doyley and Strangy went on to form the band Celtic Bones.) In 2001, the original members of Klingonz re-formed the group after a brief hiatus. Two years later, they released the greatest-hits album The Best of Klingonz and Up Uranus, which featured new material. ~ Katherine Fulton
