Nembrionic

About Nembrionic

After a few false starts under the more colorful and extensive moniker "Nembrionic Hammerdeath", Dutchmen Bor (vocals/guitar), Dennis (guitar), Jamil (bass), and Noel Rule (drums) coalesced into the more simply named grindcore act Nembrionic, circa 1991. Signing with Displeased Records a year later, the band issued an EP entitled Themes on an Occult Theory before assembling their debut album Tempter in 1993. They then embarked upon a European tour in support of At the Gates which would result in their incorporating a few death metal elements into 1995's Psycho One Hundred album. Next on the menu was 1996's Briljant, Hard & Geslepen -- an experimental deathcore collaboration with their fellow countrymen Osdorp Posse -- after which Nembrionic resumed their metallic ways with 1997's Bloodcult EP and 1998's Incomplete album. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
