Brooklyn's Stats are a powerful, heady rock outfit who balance sludgy hardcore and metal influences with a kinetic math rock intensity. Formed as Stay F****d in 2002, the band originally featured drummer/vocalist Hank Shteamer, guitarist Joe Petrucelli, and bassist Tom Kelly. However, Kelly ultimately left the band, replaced by Feast of the Epiphany bassist/vocalist Tony Gedrich. After a series of EPs and a name change to Stats, they added former Yukon and Feast of the Epiphany member Nick Podgurski as a full-time vocalist. In 2015, they delivered their debut full-length album, Mercy, on the New Atlantis label. ~ Matt Collar
