About Angus Khan

Angus Khan are a five-piece hard rock biker and metal group out of Hollywood, CA, with a stomping sound that gives them their name, derived by combining the first name of AC/DC's Angus Young with the last name of marauder Genghis Khan, an accurate credence. Formed in the summer of 2006 by former members of the bands B-Movie Rats, the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs, ADZ, and Jesters of Destiny, and featuring howling vocals from Derek Christenesen, storming guitars from Frank Meyer and Bruce Duff, and the rhythm section of bassist Dino Everett and drummer Andy Baker, Angus Khan quickly built a following up and down the West Coast with their live shows, and the debut effort Black Leather Soul was released on the indie label Nickel and Dime in 2009. ~ Steve Leggett
