Dutch musician Jan Leliveld was originally known in the music world for his leading role in the band Pandora between 1973 and 1990. It was only in 2009 that he started recording as a solo artist when he released the single "Gewoon Muziek," which spent 12 weeks in the Dutch singles chart, with its highest ranking at number eight. He then released the studio album Dit Is Mijn Leven, which reached number ten in the Dutch album charts. In late 2009 he played a concert that he recorded for a live DVD, featuring guest vocalist Glennis Grace. In 2011 he released his second album, Één Voor Één, which included the singles ''Marianne'' and ''Ons Eigen Café.'' ~ James Pearce
